Pleasant Prairie

I’m Rebecca Kishline, I both live and work in Kenosha County. I hale from the Grand Rapids, MI area, moving here for college and never really leaving. After college I lived on the northside of Kenosha for about 10 years before moving to Pleasant Prairie. My days are filled with going to the gym, working in a rewarding career, and running my children to various activities throughout the city; be it Kindermusik at Harmony Music School, gymnastics at Scamps, or swimming at Carthage College. I love being involved at their school and exploring new things to do with the whole family. In a past life, you would have found me on stage (probably with my husband) at the Racine Theater Guild, but since bringing children into the mix our time is more focus on their activities. I don’t like sitting at home on the weekends and am always on the lookout for a family friendly event near us.

Top 3 in the 262

  • Favorite local store to shop in? Kids clothes: Once Upon a Child. Food: Tenuta’s. If you’re strolling downtown, you have to stop into Mike Bjorn’s.
  • Why did you move to Kenosha? I moved to Kenosha from Michigan to attend college. How can you say “no” to the lake views! I left briefly to complete an internship out of state and returned to marry my college sweetheart.
  • Best playground? The Dream Playground has a lot to offer. But the Sunrise playground is a hidden gem.
