Relocating to Kenosha County?

The Live Local Kenosha County Talent Recruitment Grant

The Live Local Kenosha County Talent Attraction Program is designed to help talented individuals and families relocate to Kenosha County and build their future in one of the Midwest’s fastest-growing communities. Through funding provided by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), eligible applicants may receive financial assistance to support their move while gaining access to a unique package of resources designed to help them successfully transition to life in the Kenosha Area.

Eligible applicants could qualify to receive a $5,000 relocation grant, plus an additional ‘Experience Kenosha’ package including incentives from local businesses. To qualify for the grant, applicants must:

> Relocate to Kenosha County from outside the state of Wisconsin
> Earn at least $55,000 annually
> Work for or have a job offer from a Kenosha County employer

Why apply? Kenosha County offers an exceptional combination of career opportunity and quality of life. Located between Milwaukee and Chicago, the county is home to a diverse mix of growing employers, vibrant downtowns, beautiful lakefront communities, excellent schools, higher education institutions, and abundant parks and recreational amenities. The area has attracted billions of dollars in recent private investment, thousands of new jobs, and national recognition as one of the hottest housing markets in the country.

Through our Life Balanced Kenosha initiative, participants can learn about housing options, schools, recreation opportunities, healthcare providers, community organizations, and local attractions, making it easier to become part of the community from day one.

Applicants will be contacted within 48 hours of submitting their application by KABA staff. Applications will be reviewed in the order they are received and will be reviewed by KABA to determine eligibility and compliance with the program requirements established by the WEDC and KABA.
