Dual concept Taco Pros and Crisp & Green proposed for Kenosha
A combination Taco Pros and Crisp & Green is under consideration at the site of a former Burger King in Kenosha.
Franchisee Vishal Vaghani, who also owns and operates several Dunkin’ restaurants in the southeast region, seeks to open the two restaurants at 6945 75th St. Renderings submitted to the city show the new restaurant would join other nearby food establishments that include Chili’s, Applebee’s, Mission BBQ and Mason’s Eatery.
Plans call for exterior facade modifications and interior demising of the former Burger King as well as site modifications for pedestrian access and Americans with Disabilities Act accessibility, according to city records. A drive-thru window would move slightly eastward to be in the Taco Pros tenant space, city documents show.
The city’s Plan Commission reviewed plans for the first time on Sept. 5 and established conditions of approval, according to Rich Schroeder, deputy director for City Development in Kenosha. Schroder said the proposed plan is scheduled to come to the commission on Oct. 10 for consideration and final approval.
Vaghani also recently proposed three new restaurants – Dunkin’, Taco Pros and Crisp & Green – in Glendale by the summer of 2025 at 6280 N. Port Washington Road.
Taco Pros, a restaurant chain from Illinois, and Crisp & Green, a build-your-own salad business from Minnesota, have both revealed plans to expand into southeast Wisconsin.
