Pleasant Prairie luxury condo project nears groundbreaking after years on hold

Category: Uncategorized

A local developer is nearing groundbreaking on an 18-unit luxury ranch condominium community planned for a vacant, 6.2-acre site at 88th Avenue and 68th Street in Pleasant Prairie, according to village documents.

The Village Board issued final approvals for the project on Monday, setting the stage for permits to be issued.

Dustin Harpe, who owns the property, is pitching the project through Willow Grove Condos LLC, according to the final plat application. The firm is affiliated with Harpe Development LLC, a southeastern Wisconsin custom homebuilder serving Kenosha, Racine, Burlington, Walworth and Milwaukee counties, which Harpe owns.

The project envisions nine two-unit ranch-style buildings with full basements and attached garages ranging from two to three cars, according to a village staff report. Units will range from 1,626 to 1,691 square feet, excluding basements, and will offer two- or three-bedroom floor plans, according to a village staff report.

The development features architectural flourishes and amenities like granite or quartz countertops, fireplaces with floor-to-ceiling stone, private concrete patios, and asphalt driveways and walkways, according to a marketing flyer by Harpe Development.
