The Village of Bristol is a Tree City USA

The Tree City USA program is a nationwide movement that provides the framework necessary for communities to manage and expand their public trees. Bristol has achieved Tree City USA status by meeting four core standards of sound urban forestry management: maintaining a tree board or department, having a community tree ordinance, spending at least $2 per capita on urban forestry and celebrating Arbor Day.

Western Kenosha County Transit

Western Kenosha County Transit is bus service connecting rural Kenosha County to Kenosha, Lake Geneva, and Antioch, Illinois. Connect to Kenosha Area Transit at Southport Plaza in Kenosha or to the Metra in Antioch or riders may request specific pick-up or drop-off locations within 3/4 mile of the route for an additional $1 fee. Hours of operation are 5:55 am to 6:30 pm Monday-Friday.

I-94

Interstate-94 - which runs directly through the county from beyond Chicago through Milwaukee - is one of the busiest interstates in the nation seeing an average of more than 80,000 cars per day. Many housing communities in the Village of Bristol have easy access to I-94, making commutes to nearby areas much easier.
