High schoolers either attend Westosha Central or Wilmot Union High School. All three public schools perform above state averages and provide well-rounded educations and diverse opportunities to achieve personal success. There are also several private schools options within a short drive that provide faith-based or alternative education models.
The Central High School STEM Aviation Program provides students a unique, inspiring, and empowering education experience.
Westosha Central High School STEM Aviation Program educates students in the principles of aircraft construction, physics of flight, and concepts of metallurgy — and we explore opportunities and careers in the aviation field. It is one of a handful of participating high schools across the nation. It's one of the many unique and excellent programs at Westosha Central High School.
Wilmot Union High School's Project Lead the Way (PLTW) courses create an engaging classroom environment unlike any other. PLTW empowers students to develop and apply in-demand transportable skills by exploring real-world challenges. Through pathways in computer science, engineering, and biomedical science, students not only learn technical skills, but also learn to solve problems, think critically and creatively, communicate, and collaborate.
"We can't say enough about Salem School. My son was apprehensive about moving to a new school and hadn't had the best experience previously. We quickly realized that this experience was going to be much different. The caring administration and staff, the welcoming families and students - even the band program was great. It's like a family - and we are so glad we made the decision to send or kids to school here." - The Nelson Family
